About This Clinic
Casa Raphael is a state-licensed and certified substance abuseresidential treatment program for men who are homeless, at risk ofbecoming homeless, and very low income. This is a 140-bed facility thatprovides housing, food, recovery workshops, daily journaling, casemanagement, anger management, mental health counseling, health anddental care, assistance addressing legal and financial issues,employment training, educational opportunities including earning a GEDand college credits, computer workshops, resume preparation, andbudgeting classes. The program lasts 9 to 12 months with the goal ofresidents achieving independent housing and full-time employment.Accepts single men ages 18 through 62 with alcohol and drug problems(must be at least 72 hours clean and sober) that are homeless, at-riskfor homelessness and very low income.Does not accept those with severe mental or physical disability. Fees are 30% of gross income once client is employed.As of 03/24/10 facility is on 2-3 month waitlist and is currently accepting applicants.Hours: 9:00 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday.
